Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
It used to be that people got up at dawn. Arise and shine like the sun really meant something. To rise and let the "glory of the LORD" rise upon you was to get up and face the sun. To feel its warmth, to feel its presence. WOW! That sense of warmth and peace that I have felt when basking in the sunlight is amazing. I have been in the mountains to experience the sun rise... what a feeling of joy and hope. God's presence gives us that same feeling...only more. Face into God, stand in his presence. Feel the warmth, joy and hope at his announcement. Let the glory of the LORD arise on you!
